Infrastructure is in place that can produce clean drinking water. Repairs to the existing water treatment plant were completed and the Environmental Public Health Officer recommended the 2 advisories be lifted in July 2018. Upgrades to the plant were completed in December 2020 and the plant is providing clean drinking water to the community.

ISC continues to work with Peepeekisis First Nation to support chief and council in lifting the drinking water advisories.
