- Available to a full-time Cambrian College undergraduate student that self-identifies as Mtis. Students must demonstrate leadership skills and show involvement in extracurricular activities. Students must be at least 18 years of age after the completion of their current school term. Students must be enrolled in and maintain an overall B average (3.0 GPA) in one of the following Cambrian College programs: Electrical Engineering Technician /Technology, Electrical Engineering Technician/ Technology - Industrial, Energy Systems Technology, Industrial Mechanical/Millwright Technician, Instrumentation Engineering Technician/Technology, Instrumentation Engineering Technician/Technology - Industrial, Millwright(Construction/Industrial) Apprentice, Power Engineering Technician/Technology. Students must be returning to school after the completion of the current school term or require completion of one final tem to graduate. A 500-word essay must be submitted which describes why the applicant chose a program of study in the energy sector and why they should be chosen as a recipient. The essay should also include an overview of their interest in the Metis community, culture and heritage.
