- Other Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligibility - Applicants must be registered full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at a Canadian university or have graduated from such a program less than one year ago. Applicants will be invited to the Child Rights Academic Network Conference 2023 conference in Ottawa, Ontario April 2024 (virtually or in person if in Ottawa). Judging criteria - Essays that are well written, and that critically engage with children’s rights and children’s rights advocacy issues. Essays that refer to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child or how using a rights-based approach to the topic matters for young people. Essays that display a knowledge of current literature written in the topic area.
